As soon a the LEGO Hogwarts Castle was announced, it was love at first sight! I have been a Harry Potter fan for a while and love the Hogwarts Castle from the films.
If you have ever been to Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, you know that the finale to the exhibit is the Hogwarts Castle used in the filming of the first few films, and it is awe-inspiring!
The first time I saw it, I took about 300 photos and spent hours walking around it and looking at every inch of detail. So my love of Hogwarts runs deep.
When the set was first announced, I thought it was too good to be true! Mainly because it was leaked before the official announcement. However, a few days later LEGO officially announced the set, and the rather large price tag to go with it.
Officially the second biggest LEGO set ever after the Millenium Falcon released earlier this year and coming it at 6020 pieces for ÂŁ349.99. No small fee, but worthy of the price when it is such a big set!
