LEGO Art

LEGO Art Logo

Theme: LEGO Art

Lego Art was first released in 2020 and features a range that includes Marvel, Star Wars, The Beatles, and the Pop-art icon that inspired the range – Andy Warhol and his Marilyn Monroe portrait. In my opinion, the range is targeted squarely at the AFOLs, with the more mature subject matter, and above $100/£100 price tag. If you love LEGO, and the subject matter, these might before you – especially if you have more wall space than display cabinets.

LEGO introduced the Art series 2020, kicking off with something for Star Wars and Marvel Fans, and also The Beatles and Marylin Monroe/Andy Warhol Fans.

This is the first real move into 2D from LEGO, and whether you find this set desirable will be based on how you think of LEGO. For me, LEGO is a very 3-dimensional thing, but if I had the extra money for these ($119.99, £114.99, €116.97) sets, then I would probably adorn every wall in my house… well, after I’ve bought the Millennium Falcon, and every Creator Expert set.

El Brick, or Luke (El = L geddit? no... ok) fell in love with LEGO as a child, and one of his fondest memories was getting a new LEGO (and later Technic) set for Christmas each year. Losing touch with LEGO for a few years, he returned when LEGO Ideas captured his imagination. Combining his love of LEGO and websites, he decided to create this here LEGO website, and hopes you enjoy it 🙂
